There are those among us that see the world in ways that we cannot even imagine. This is the story of one of them. Ramanujan sees the world in numeric form. Even though he doesn't always understand what it is that he sees, he transcribes all that he sees on scraps of paper, in journals or anything else he can get his hands on. As he tries to share what he sees with others, he's not seen as a genius, instead, he's chastised for his gift... Even with all of that he continues to keep reaching out. With the help of someone that finally took him seriously, ᅠhis work will soon reach the scholars at Trinity college in England. They extend an invitation to him to discuss his work and talk about future endeavors. As soon as he arrives he quickly realizes how out of place he really is. The only thing that keeps him grounded are his numbers, even then he yearns for more. Time will pass, he'll have to prove himself more than he ever thought he could. Those around him will both lift him up and knock him down. Yet he refuses to give up. Those from Trinity, will find themselves in a difficult situation for both them and Ramanujan. What will become of Ramanujan and his work? The answer to this might surprise you. This is an incredibly moving drama (even if you don't understand the numbers), the story reaches depths that many strive for and few actually attain. Watch this and be prepared as you're watching a turning point in history.
